Game Objective
Be the last player standing by not running out of owned spots on the board.
Starting Resources
  • Each player starts with $8 FAAB (currency).
  • Defensive Spot = costs 1 FAAB.
  • Attack Spot = costs 2 FAAB.
  • Every round end: +$3 FAAB income.
  • Any FAAB saved in the bank is doubled at the start of the next round.
Buying & Upgrading
  • Defense:
  • You can only buy defense spots connected to your current owned spots.
  • You can buy the same defensive spot again to upgrade its defense level.
  • Attack:
  • Attack spots can be purchased on any open spot (cost 2 FAAB).
  • A newly purchased attack spot cannot be attacked for 1 round.
  • To launch an attack, you must allocate attack points to a purchased attack spot.
Attacking Rules
  • No attacks allowed until Round 3.
  • Attack strength = (attack points allocated) – (distance to target).
  • The farther away a target, the weaker your attack (and vice versa).
  • You cannot attack a spot owned by another player if you haven’t purchased that spot as an attack spot first.
Special Notes
  • Open spots = available land anyone can claim.
  • “Connected” means vertically, horizontally, or diagonally adjacent.
  • Once a player loses all defensive spots, they’re out of the game.
  • Rounds are asynchronous — players take their turns without waiting for everyone else, but all actions resolve together at round end.
